Taproom Pub & Grub is by far my favorite bar/eatery in all of San Marcos. The food, the beer selection, and the atmosphere are all amazing. I’ll show my hand a little early and say I absolutely recommend this spot to everyone (21 and over). By far the best part about this place is their burgers. The pizza burger there is out of this world, and it makes no sense why. I’ll be honest, a burger with marinara and pepperoni on it does not sound good at first. When I decided to finally try it I immediately flipped my tune, and it became my favorite item on the menu. As for the bar arrangement, the tables are a little close to each other, but it’s not much of an issue. The atmosphere is amazing; from the waitresses and bartenders to the just general vibe. Activities

Taproom has one very fun thing to do, and that is trivia night! The amazing people at Geeks Who Drink stop by every Tuesday at 7:00 to give a wonderful experience. It’s free to play and has many chances to win prizes or coupons for taproom. The questions are never easy, but they do allow teams of up to six people. Making this a great group activity if you find you and your friends bored on a Tuesday night. If you feel like you can take on the competition solo, then go right ahead there are no requirements to join. Did I also mention that this is a free event? Well it is, no buy ins or food needs to be purchased (although highly recommended). So please take my advice and try this place place out!
