Sadly I had planned to attend some type of event here in for my final post, but due to the active quarantine I will talk about this amazing museum. First I will start off with the shear size of this museum. Its built within multiple hangars to hold the hundreds of different types of memorabilia. This alone makes it great, because you can get lost and find so much to look at. I spent basically a whole day and I feel like I barely got through a quarter of the museum. Just some of the inventions they showed like the first ever helicopter or the first version of the stealth bombers. I loved that it felt like i was progressing throughout the years of aviation while i walked through the halls. I got to see how people transitioned from the early stages of flight into the advanced world we live in now. By far the thing that blew me out of the water was the giant plane pictured above. It’s name is The Spruce Goose it is the largest wooden plane in history. It’s shear size and the fact that it took up an entire hanger was just unbelievable. I would recommend this museum to anyone just so they can see that. It’s that type of big where you question how small we as people really are compared to whats around us. It does require you to pay to enter but its more than worth the money. The good thing is when I went it was an all day ticket so you could leave and have lunch, or visit the water park across the street. So please once again go check out the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, its amazing. For more information on the museum please go visit their official website. https://www.evergreenmuseum.org/
